Konica Minolta recognised for innovation

The OEM’s “innovation approach” has been referenced in a new global report compiled by Capgemini Consulting and MIT Digital.

The report is entitled ‘The Foundations of Corporate Innovation in the Digital Age’ and “identifies three factors for a successful organisation of innovation in large corporations”, consisting of “the right innovation architecture, the right innovation sources and the alignment of the right capabilities”, as ChannelInfo reveals.

Konica Minolta’s innovation architecture consists of five Business Innovation Centres located around the world and the company describes its mission as “to gain a deeper understanding of customers’ needs and deliver the greatest value by anticipating them”.

Konica Minolta has explained that it opts for an “open innovation” ethos that involves collaborating with “clients, partners, independent research facilities and universities, to develop new offerings”.
