Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd announced the appointment of Suzie Thorogood as Chief Financial Officer.

Bringing a wealth of both financial and leadership expertise and experience to the role, Thorogood joins Konica Minolta as it celebrates its 150th anniversary globally (and 50 years of operations in the UK) whilst embracing its next chapter as an innovative technology provider.

Commenting on her new role Thorogood stated, “I am delighted to be joining the Konica Minolta senior leadership team at this exciting juncture. Following the business’s significant transformation over the last three years in response to broader global changes, I am excited to be taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer during this next phase of growth and change.”

Along with Konica Minolta’s rich heritage and prominent position as an innovative technology provider, Thorogood said she was also attracted to the role due to the company’s employee value proposition, which expertly balances productivity and customer service with choice-based working and achieving the optimum employee work/life harmony.

Thorogood added, “From my first interaction with Konica Minolta I was impressed that they were not only interested in my professional experience but also critically my leadership and how we aligned in terms of our energy and approaches to building and developing highly successful teams. As you would expect, the recruitment process was extensive and challenging but at the same time I felt supported and encouraged at every step.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Suzie to Konica Minolta. Not only does she bring considerable financial expertise, but she is also an experienced and confident business leader. We purposely looked for someone with the right energy, who shares our specific values in leadership and the importance of identifying and developing high performance talent. In addition, someone who has excelled in leading a national operating company, whilst understanding the needs of the broader European and Global business,” added Rob Ferris, Chief Executive Officer of Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd.
