The company announced their intention to acquire Lomax’s entire business in Denmark.

Lyreco has announced its intention to acquire Lomax which will expand its footprint in Denmark.

“We are happy to have found a match with Lyreco, which is a major player in our industry. Lomax has been on an amazing journey of transformation. Over the last decade, we have strengthened our position on the Danish market in the SMB segment with direct sales, by focusing on the customer experience and being successful with our digital transformation. When the agreement is approved, we will continue the journey we have started for all our customers”, said Kenneth Borup, Chief Executive Officer of Lomax.

“Lomax is a complementary business to Lyreco, which offers a wide range of solutions for the workplace, with a strong market position in the Danish SMB segment with direct sales and an impressive footprint within digital marketing. When the opportunity arose, it was a logical step for us to explore the possibilities of joining forces and I am confident that this will help us achieve our vision of sustainable delivery of everything that every workplace needs.

“The proposed acquisition – once approved by the relevant local authorities – will expand the range of solutions for our customers in both companies and allow  our teams of unique talents to share their expertise and deliver a better customer experience,” said Gregory Lienard, Chief Executive Officer in Lyreco.

The intended acquisition is now subject to approval by the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (KFST).
