Marco announced it has been recognised as a best place to work by Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ).

The publication revealed the top recipients for the Best Place to Work 2019 award. Technology provider Marco was among the total 60 recipients across the categories of Extra Small (10 to 24 employees), Small (25 to 49 employees), Medium (50-249 employees) and Large (250+ employees). Marco was one of just 10 honourees in the Large Company category, the company reported.

Marco explained that chosen for the ability to create and maintain engaged workforces, the companies were evaluated through a company-wide employee survey response on employee engagement, culture, teamwork and support. Recipients are chosen using research by Quantum Workplace and MSPBJ.

Marco was chosen for its unique ability to attract and retain employees with a positive culture. In fact, Marco has a Gold Standard initiative, which is founded on pillars of Employee Engagement, Community Support, Vendor Partnerships and Client Satisfaction, the company added.

“This award is greatly appreciated by Marco and shows that we take employee satisfaction seriously. We take such pride and happiness in the fact that we offer our employees a great place to work, and that shows by their survey responses for this award,” said Director of Human Resources Sara Lommel.

In August, Marco will be interviewed and featured in an MSPBJ publication to elaborate on the ways in which the company creates and sustains an award-winning workplace.

The Great Place to Work award 2019 will be celebrated through a reception at The Renaissance Depot in Minneapolis on 1 August. Winning participants will be honoured at the award ceremony.
