MPS Monitor Srl partners with ShipsInk B.V. to provide management and monitoring of global, scalable and efficient maritime printing solutions on board of sea vessels.

MPS Monitor has announced a partnership with ShipsInk, a printer supplies and Managed Print Services specialist in the maritime industry. The goal of this partnership is to provide a customised platform that supports the specific needs of the maritime sector including environmental analytics coming from MPS Monitor’s award-winning Analytics BI platform.

MPS Monitor supports ShipsInk and its customers with an advanced and complete remote monitoring and management SaaS platform, which is used by more than 3,500 dealers in 60 countries.

MPS Monitor explained that a main challenge was the extremely complex infrastructure and the required security levels of Ship Owners, Ship Management companies and their sea vessels. MPS Monitor’s cybersecurity posture (SOC 2 Type 2, CSA Star Level 2, and ISO 27001) perfectly fits with the high security standards in the maritime industry, where the ease of use of the MPS Monitor platform and the simplicity of the installation of DCA4 reduces the amount of manual activities.

Commenting on this announcement, Mark Kouwenberg, Sales Director of MPS Monitor, said: “MPS Monitor developed and customised the ShipsInk MPS Portal in such a way that it fulfils the needs ShipsInk and its maritime industry customers have. The integrated Power BI environmental reporting capabilities perfectly apply to the current ESG strategies of Ship Owners and Ship Management companies.”

Global Sales Manager of ShipsInk, Bart Mennega, shared, “Getting accurate, complete, and timely data is critical to the maritime industry. We are excited that we can help our existing and new customers with reductions on TCO and carbon footprint as well as removing the ‘print burden’ from their shoulders.”
