Asolvi announced that Tony Milford has been appointed as Managing Director for MyMobileWorkers, following its acquisition by the company in September 2021.
Milford, whose former business, Vantage Computing, was also acquired by Asolvi in 2019, has almost two decades experience growing SaaS software businesses in UK and European markets. He has previously held several roles within Asolvi, including Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and, most recently, Commercial Director.
Milford first encountered MyMobileWorkers via Vantage over ten years ago when they provided mobile development services to the business. He recalls: “When evaluating the potential tie-up between Asolvi and MyMobileWorkers, I was immediately struck by how many of the team were the same people I had been engaging with back in 2010. That says something about a business.”
Asolvi acquired MyMobileWorkers in September 2021, based on its success in the highways and traffic management markets. Both areas have seen tremendous growth over the past decade, with government spending at an all-time high. Their cloud-based solution allows businesses in these sectors to enforce a safe process for operatives on site. It replaces any paper job packs and proves to clients that work has been completed on time, safely, and to a high standard.
Tony commented: “I know how motivated, proud, and ambitious the team at MyMobileWorkers are. My role is to help channel and direct the experience and resources that Asolvi can bring — whilst retaining the entrepreneurial spirit and customer focus that made the company what it is today. As a management team, we plan to support and accelerate the ambition that already exists in abundance within the business. I look forward to this latest role and the part I can play in growing MyMobileWorkers to become one of the key offerings within the Asolvi family.”
Pål M. Rødseth, CEO of Asolvi, concluded: “I’d like to congratulate Tony on his new appointment. His experience and vision will ensure that the MyMobileWorkers team integrates seamlessly within Asolvi. I have no doubt he will help build on MyMobileWorkers’ reputation as the leading provider of traffic and highways workforce management solutions in the UK— and effectively lead its expansion into the other European markets in which Asolvi is active.”
