Takayuki Togo will be replacing Sunil Gupta as Managing Director of Fuji Xerox Australia from 1 October 2018.

As ARN reports, Gupta, who has been working for Fuji Xerox since 1979, will be returning to the US on the completion of his assignment.

Gupta has held a number of job titles at the company over the years, including serving as President of the OEM’s Malaysian subsidiary.

“He (Gupta) has been pivotal in Fuji Xerox Australia’s business transformation over the past two years,” said Fuji Xerox Australia. “This turnaround effort has put the company back on the path to a bright future financially and operationally.

“Now in a position of strength, the organisation is focused on delivering exceptional results for employees, customers and all stakeholders.”

His replacement, Takayuki Togo, also has a great deal of experience, particularly focused on marketing and corporate strategy, and previously worked as Senior General Manager for Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific.

“Australia is a market of enormous potential,” Togo said. “I’m thrilled to be leading Fuji Xerox Australia and will make it a growth driver for the entire Fuji Xerox organisation.

“I also want to thank Sunil who led this company to be leading other operating companies in providing best solutions and services that meet customer needs.”

Togo was one of the executives who travelled to New Zealand following the news of the well-documented accounting scandal which affected both the Kiwi and Australian subsidiaries of the company.
