Following their victory at the Print IT awards in December for the EOS Manufacturer of the Year Award, ECS have kicked off 2022 with a bang by introducing their new website this week.
The UK remanufacturer and recycler has re-envisioned their previous website, which existed on an external open source based e-commerce platform. The company’s new website operates from ECS’s very own platform that was developed in-house over a number of months, enabling high performance with powerful functionality with the ability to add new features on demand that are tailored to the industry and its partner’s requirements.
This investment and advancement of the company’s website will enable them to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and provide a platform for future features, but what does this mean for ECS’s customers?
Adam Lighton, ECS’s Operations Director explained: “At first glance the website will look largely similar to how it did previously, however, with the website moving over to our own platform, our customers will find that the new version is quicker, more efficient and much more responsive. Placing orders will be faster than before and there will be a direct to client order option available for those ECS Partners who use it, making direct to client orders quicker and easier.”
ECS explained that ultimately, the customer experience will be vastly improved via improved site performance, faster load times, super-fast search and a smoother checkout experience.
