Ninestar has opened a new 59,998 square feet (5,574sqm) warehouse in Dunstable, UK, with a view to make new products more widely available to its network of partners.
The UK warehouse will store the company’s wide-range of products including toner cartridges, ink cartridges, ribbon cartridges and other compatible print consumables.
“By setting up this new warehouse, our partners and distributors can save on their logistics costs,” said Linda Fan, Senior Vice General Manager of Ninestar Image. “It will also shorten the time for receiving stock, customs clearances and customs declarations.”
The UK local warehouse will have the capacity to stock up to 1.8 million SKUs, when fully stocked, for direct supply.
“The new UK warehouse will improve our logistics services and also make it more convenient for our international customers to place their orders,” Fan added. “Previously, we needed seven days to deliver an order but now we can complete it in just one day!”
Ninestar said it will manage the stock levels to ensure the warehouse full and always in a position to provide its customers with next day delivery. Ninestar said in its announcement that the new arrangements mean the company is ready to meet the demands of existing as well as potential new business.
