On July 15th Ninestar Corporation – reported the unaudited interim half-year results for its printer-consumables and Lexmark International.
Ninestar reported that for its half-year which ended on June 30th, 2019 that there was an overall increase over the same period last year of 12 percent – 31 percent and profit was 312,541,300 yuan ($45.5 million / €40.3 million) and earnings $350 million – $410 million (€310.5 million – €363.6 million)
The company attributes changes in the first half of 2019, to the unfavourable background of global economic uncertainty and Sino-US trade friction, the printer and consumables industry also faced enormous challenges. The company was able to rely on the advantages of the entire industry chain, as well as in patent technology and service programs and business performance, has risen steadily.
Consumables business – In the first half of 2019, compared with the same period of the previous year, the operating income and net profit of the consumables business asset package increased by about 20 percent.
Apex Microelectronics Business- In the first half of 2019, the operating income of Apex Microelectronics business increased by 3 percent compared with the same period of last year.
Lexmark printer business – In the first half of 2019, Lexmark’s international printer shipments and operating income were the same as in the same period of the previous year. The net profit attributable to the parent company decreased compared with the same period of the past year.
The audited half-year results are expected in mid-August 2019.
