Ninestar reports on successful industry webinar

More than 320 people registered and attended a confidential conference to confront some industry hot issues that impact their businesses.

The free Ninestar “Hot Potatoes” conference was a “closed” event due to the commercially sensitive content shared during the one-hour event.

The one-hour webinar was held 28 September and ran twice so that participants across the globe can participate at a time that suits them best. Specialists in the environment, intellectual property and global hardware provided presentations to provide updates on the latest changes to help achieve business growth.

Swiss-based Christa Furter shared information on Ninestar’s approach to environmental protection, which has resulted in high-quality, closed-the-loop remanufactured cartridge solutions. “One key reason I support Ninestar is because I am really impressed by the ecological commitment of the group,” said Furter. “This is a company you should be partner with too.”

US-based attorney, Gary Hnath, revealed tactics used by printer OEMs to capture market share. “We’ve seen that OEMs are becoming more and more aggressive in their tactics to preserve or grab increased market share,” said Hnath. He cited recent legal cases where printer OEMs have been very proactive and yet did not win. He commented how important it is for buyers and distributors to have reliable suppliers with the technical muscle and ‘know-how’ to fight back.

“I have been amazed at Ninestar’s technical depth and commitment. The company is to be commended for its outstanding track record of bringing new and improved products to the market at an affordable price, to the benefit of consumers around the world and for its growth and the expansion of its product lines in such a short period of time. Its technological achievements are truly remarkable.”

Junno Gong, global MPS director of Ninestar Image, provided up-to-date data revealing the printers and supplies actively being sought after by end-users. “From 2020 to now, we’ve gone through panic to calm, from disappointment to hope,” Gong said. “We are still all working together to fight COVID. While great changes have taken place in the printer and consumables industry, I am glad we have solutions to help our partners earn good money and build stronger businesses.”

During the event, one lucky attendee from France and another from the USA each won the newly released Apple Watch Series 7. Other lucky draw prizes included G&G photo printers and G&G mono laser printers.

Following requests by some who could not attend the event at the time, Ninestar said it will provide a link to watch the event offline. Requests should be made by sending an email to marketing_center@ggimage.com.
