The alliance between the OEM and New Zealand Office Supplies is designed to widen choice for customers and deepen capabilities in the local market.
As Reseller News reports, the agreement sees NZOS gain the exclusive right to the sale of Fuji Xerox branded papers, including speciality and wide format papers.
NZOS, which was formed by the integration of the office products division of Fuji Xerox New Zealand with Astra Office Products Depot, Astute Office Supplies, and Canterbury Office Supplies, specialises in office technology products, including printers, accessories, and storage; it has premises in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.
Peter Thomas, Fuji Xerox’s Managing Director, said the deal with provide “significant incremental value” to the two companies’ customers.
“The new partnership will give customers access to the best local office supplies offering in the New Zealand market coupled with excellent service levels,” he explained. “It will strengthen the range of office products available and will provide all our customers with a fresh ecommerce experience. We look forward to deepening our relationship with NZOS and working with them to provide significant incremental value to our respective customers.”
Thomas added that “the focus for the next three months will be on integrating the two supplies businesses into NZOS, and ensuring a seamless transition for our customers.”
