The 2019 edition of the region’s premier office imaging trade show got underway in Dubai this morning, with countless visitors expected over the next three days.

This year’s show is taking place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre in the United Arab Emirates, with thousands of visitors from across the Middle east and North Africa predicted to join hundreds of exhibitors for a unique opportunity to network, trade, connect, and do business.

Among the exhibitors at Paperworld Middle East 2019 are China’s Shenzhen AstaUK-based debutants Dynamic Cassette International (DCI)Australian company Calidad, which has attended every edition of the show since its inception, and Dubai’s very own Daisytek Computers LLC, described as “one of the leading trader & exporter of printer consumables & computer accessories in the Middle East.”

The theme of the 2019 show is ‘More Than Paper’, and will feature an expanded product offering, as well as the Green Room, for sustainably produced stationery and office supplies.

The trade show will also feature what promises to be an eye-opening programme of seminars, with a range of talks and discussions on various subjects across the whole gamut of the aftermarket and office imaging industries. President of ETIRA, David Connett, is among those lined up to speak later this week, discussing both the virtues of reuse, and the ongoing DecaBDE scandal.

As well as the latest in office supplies, printing materials, stationery, paper and gifts, this week’s show will also feature Playworld Village, the region’s leading platform for children’s toys and games, and Leatherworld Middle East.

“While Paperworld Middle East remains as the region’s largest dedicated trade fair for paper, stationery, and office supplies, we’re adding other key elements that leverage the synergies between related industries, further emphasising the trade fair’s ‘More than Paper’ theme,” said Alexandria Robinson, show director of Paperworld Middle East. “Whether a wholesaler or distributor, a corporation or commercial end-user, a buyer of corporate gifts or an owner of toys, baby and kids stores, there is something for everyone at Paperworld Middle East.”
