The company through its distributor Utec has announced a new “dual” life for compatible toner cartridges.
The first compatible SmartDuo toner cartridges introduced by Print-Rite are for use in Brother HL-2220/2230/2240/2240R/2240DR/2240D/2242D/2250DN/2250DNR/2270DW/2275DW/2280DW, Brother MFC-7240/7360/7360N/7360NR/7362N7460DN/7470D/7860DW/7860DN/7860D/7860DWR/7290, Brother FAX-2845/2890/2840/2940/2950/2940R/2990, Brother DCP-7060D/7060DR/7065DN/7065DNR/7070DW/, 7070DWR (Worldwide), Brother HL-2130/2132/2132R/2135W, Brother DCP-7055/7055W/7057/7057R/7057WR (Worldwide except CN version), Konica Minolta pagepro 1500w/1550dn/1580mf/1590mf and Konica Minolta bizhub 12/15/16(CN/SEA) devices.
Print-Rite said in its announcement that the cartridges offer “full functionality from SmartDuo for accurate page counting” and are “IP safe and easy to use”. The compatible cartridges are the same size as normal cartridges but offer twice the page yield, effectively lowering the cost per page price.
