The online distributor of printer inks and toners has formed a charitable partnership with Childline, whereby Printerinks.ie donates €1 for every cartridge it sells.

As Irish Tech News reports, as well as the donation of money for every cartridge sold, “the Printerinks team will participate in fundraising events in collaboration with the ISPCC’s events calendar, to further benefit the Childline service.”

Childline benefits over 380,000 children and young people each year, serving as a “free, anonymous and confidential listening service” to children who “often feel they have nowhere else to turn.”

Michael McKeon, Managing Director at Printerinks.ie, said: “I am pleased to announce our contribution will support the ISPCC’s excellent work in providing the Childline service to listen to children and young people in Ireland.”

Grainia Long, CEO at ISPCC, commented, “We are delighted to have the support of Printerinks through this partnership. The donation received from each cartridge purchased will help our Childline service to keep listening to children 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”
