Printing revenues rise for Kodak

The OEM has published its consolidated financial results for the first quarter of 2018, with cause to smile in its printing division.

The company’s total revenue for Q1 2018 was $357 million (€300.4 million), exactly the same as in the equivalent period last year. This occurred after a $2 million (€1.68 million) climb in revenue from sales (to $285 million (€239.8 million)) was cancelled out by a $2 million (€1.68 million) drop in revenue from services (to $72 million (€60.5 million).)

$216 million (€181.7 million) of that total figure was contributed by Kodak’s Print Systems Division, an increase of $3 million (€2.5 million) from Q1 of 2017.

There was slightly less positivity in the Enterprise Inkjet Systems Division, however, which fell $6 million (€5 million) in revenue to $31 million (€26 million); there was a dip in the Software & Solutions Division, too, albeit a smaller one, revenue falling $1 million (€841,722) to $20 million (€16.8 million).
