The company has revealed that it has donated €1,000 ($1,140) to the Diakonisches Werk, described as the “extended arm of the Protestant Church” which benefits the “poor and needy”.

Located in the Evangelical-Lutheran deanery district of Friesing e.V., Diakonisches Werk was founded in 2001 and consists of several specialist departments dedicated to societal good works.

These include an Office for the Prevention of Homelessness, a women’s refuge, and the Friesing Intervention Centre which offers counselling for victims of domestic violence.
