The renowned trade fair company is now a truly global business, with clients and customers on all continents.

Last year, more than 2,600 exhibitors displayed their business to over 84,000 visitors, in four different Paperworld shows around the world.

Julia Uherek, Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH’s Group Show Director for Consumer Goods, said: “The globally interconnected PBS-industry needs trade platforms in key markets to link supply and demand. Our four Paperworld trade fairs offer a perfect mix of unique product diversity, internationality, excellent service and forward-looking trends. Traders and suppliers will find the best business opportunities in proven Messe Frankfurt quality in Frankfurt am Main, Dubai, Shanghai and Hong Kong, as well as at the industry-related toy fairs Toy & Hobby China, Baby & Stroller China and Playworld Middle East.”

Messe Frankfurt’s flagship event, Paperworld in Frankfurt, has been described as “the first port of call for the international paper, office supplies, and stationery sector”, and was joined in 2001 by the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair. Today, Messe Frankfurt’s global reach also includes Shanghai’s Paperworld China, and Dubai’s Paperworld Middle East.

Next year’s Paperworld in Frankfurt runs from the 26th to the 29th of January, and will continue the success of 2018’s event, which featured more than 1,600 exhibitors and welcomed over 33,000 visitors, two thirds of which came from abroad.

Paperworld Middle East’s next edition, meanwhile, will be from the 18th to the 20th of March 2019, and will run concurrently with Playworld Middle East and Leatherworld Middle East. The Hong Kong International Stationery Fair is also returning in 2019, from the 7th to the 10th of January.

Still to come this year, Paperworld China recently announced its dates, from the 22nd to the 24th of November. It follows 2017’s show, where over 23,000 visitors from across the world converged on Shanghai to network with exhibitors from more than 550 companies worldwide. This year’s event moves to a new location, at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai, near to Hongqiao International Airport.
