Ricoh Company, Ltd. has announced that it has received two Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab (BLI) 2019 PRO awards for its colour production printers RICOH Pro C7210 and RICOH Pro C9200.

BLI chose the winning systems based on an in-depth review of a comprehensive set of technical criteria.

RICOH Pro C7210 was awarded the PRO award for Outstanding Mid-Volume Colour Device, and RICOH Pro C9200 was awarded the PRO award for Outstanding High-Volume Colour Production Device.

Evaluation comments from Keypoint Intelligence are as follows:

“The RICOH Pro C7210 series is an outstanding choice in the mid-volume space for commercial printers and high volume in-plants,” said Mikolay. “Chief among the system’s advantages is its fifth imaging station, which not only allows for printing white in one pass but also invisible red, in addition to clear, white, neon yellow, and neon pink. The fifth imaging station, along with media weight support for up to 360gsm, enables the system to deliver on a wide range of additional creative opportunities not available with most rival devices in its sector. Media management is a cinch at the control panel, and the job management is outstanding thanks to EFI Fiery Command WorkStation.”

“The RICOH Pro C9200 is an outstanding choice for the commercial print space, delivering high quality, consistent results throughout testing,” said Joe Tischner, Keypoint Intelligence’s Wide Format & Cut Sheet Production Analyst. “The system earned 5 Star status for colour consistency, and exhibited excellent fine line and very good font reproduction that will satisfy the image quality demands in marketing and graphics-intensive environments. The system is also extremely productive, achieving its full rated 115-ppm engine speed even at its maximum paper weight of 470gsm.”
