SCC announces Zhang as CFO

Static Control Components, the largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components, has hired former IBM man Jerry Zhang as its new Chief Financial Officer.

“I’m excited to be a part of this team,” Zhang declared. “Static Control has been a successful business for more than 30 years, and is continually pushing to be at the forefront of the industry. This is a unique opportunity to help bring all our systems into the most current practices.”

Zhang has held key positions at numerous companies, including Honeywell and IBM. His most recent position was as Financial Controller at Faiveley Transport, a global supplier of integrated systems for the railway industry. He earned an MBA with a concentration in finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, along with holding a Master of Economics degree from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China.

“Jerry’s strength in implementing new systems will make him a great asset to Static Control,” said Bill Swartz, President of Static Control. “His experience with global manufacturers has given him a unique perspective of the best business practices around the world.”
