Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) has announced that it is expanding its direct regional sales coverage of managed network services in the Midwest by acquiring ZLan Partners, Inc.

ZLan Partners is an IT services company in the Chicago, IL region. As a newly created branch of Sharp Business Systems, ZLan Partners will operate under the name of “ZLan Partners, a Sharp IT Company,” and will continue to provide network design, virtual CIO services, cloud services and user security to its customers. The new branch will also provide managed network services to Sharp Business Systems operations in the Chicago, Indianapolis and Cincinnati areas as well as supporting the other Sharp Business Systems branches around the country.

To ensure the transition is as smooth as possible, the employees of ZLan, led by Russell Zimny, have been asked to join the Sharp team. Additionally, ZLan will continue to support its new and existing customers by providing the same high level of service that its customers have come to expect.

“We are pleased to join Sharp Business Systems and are excited about working with one of the best brands in the industry to continue to provide the best level of service,” said Russell Zimny, President / General Manager, ZLan Partners, a Sharp IT Company. “We are confident that Sharp’s philosophy of outstanding customer service and the delivery of high-quality products and solutions will provide outstanding additional programs to Sharp’s new customers.”

“We chose the ZLan team to become the newest addition to Sharp Business Systems because of its unrelenting dedication to its customers, its excellent technology, and first-class service,” said Anthony Sci, Senior Vice President of Sharp Business Systems. “This newest acquisition not only expands Sharp Business Systems’ branch operations in the Midwest, it is also a strategic move to provide enhanced support for SBS’s Managed Network Services operations throughout the country.”

Since its first branch opening in Arizona in 2006, SIICA has established 15 local Sharp Business Systems branches in 50 locations through growth initiatives within the organisation.
