Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), announced it has been awarded the Copiers & Managed Print Services contract by the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint.

Sharp’s contract awarded includes four categories: A3 MFPs, A4 MFPs, production equipment and single function printers.

“This is an exciting time for Sharp in both the digital imaging and smart office markets,” said Mike Marusic, President and CEO, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “We are focused and committed to providing quality copiers and managed print solutions that deliver superior productivity, performance and ease-of-use to NASPO ValuePoint end users.”

NASPO ValuePoint competitively bids cooperative contracts that provide exceptional goods and services to state and local governments. The Copiers & Managed Print Service contract helps government agencies reduce costs while boosting efficiency and productivity.

“NASPO ValuePoint is excited to have issued awards for the 3rd iteration of the Copier & Managed Print Services Contract,” said Bart Lemmon, Supplier Development Director, NASPO and NASPO ValuePoint. “The new agreements have expanded the scope beyond just copiers and printers to meet the complex office equipment needs of the states and their users. With the expanded scope and breadth of offerings, we expect to see an increase in participating states that adopt these ValuePoint contracts.”
