Sharp joins other OEMs in donations

The company has released an announcement about its actions against conflict in Ukraine.

The announcement says: “We as Sharp Group are deeply concerned on the current conflict developing in Ukraine. We send our prayers to all victims of the conflict, and sincerely wish for a peaceful resolution as soon as possible.

“To support the humanitarian programme, our businesses will also be making local donations to charities involved in this effort, along with individual efforts in relief activities etc.”

Sharp Group is currently suspending shipping into Russia with the conflict’s impact. The company added: “We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and make adequate measures based on the spirit of our Sharp Group Charter of Corporate Behaviour.”
