Adveo Group International Sa has announced that its Spanish units, Adveo España and Calipage España, have requested liquidation.

As Reuters reports, both units of the Group, at the request of insolvency administration, have made a court request to open the liquidation phase of both companies.

This news follows on the heels of Adveo’s announcement earlier this month that it had accepted a binding offer from Sandton Capital Partners ; however, this deal does not include acquisition of stakes in Adveo España, Adveo Digital Systems Portugal, Adveo Deutschland or Adveo Group International.

Adveo originally declared bankruptcy in November 2018, following the failure of various takeover attempts.
