The Epson Workforce Enterprise WF20590 printer, which can produce up to 100 pages a minute, has now been rolled out in India for Rs 1,271,799.

As The Asian Age reports, the printer, which is Epson’s first multi-function inkjet model, helps cut down on costs with its ink cartridges which can “yield up to 100,000 pages (2×50,000) in black and 50,000 pages in colour”.

Its rapid printing speed of up to 100 pages a minute is down to a new printing mechanism which, as CIOL explains, “consists of an electrostatic transport belt in the print pass that ensures the paper is completely flat for stable paper feeding”. This guarantees the “smoothest of gradients and consistently sharp images”.

Siva Kumar, General Manager, InkJet Printers at Epson India said, “We are bringing high-speed, high-productivity printers that deliver outstanding quality inkjet printing to enterprises while helping companies lower total cost of ownership. The new WorkForce Enterprise printer drives productivity while also providing drastic energy savings of up to 75 percent less power consumption.”
