The latest branch closure for the office retail giant will come at the beginning of March.

Another Staples store is to shut for good, this time in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, reports the Standard Speaker. The branch, which opened on 180 Susquehanna Boulevard twenty years ago, will close its doors for the last time on the 3rd of March.

It is the latest in a string of closures for the office retail titan, with stores in Marion, IndianaChristiansburg, Virginia, and Northampton, Massachusetts all bringing down the shutters in the last few months, and with another Pennsylvanian outlet also set to cease trading in March.

Staples spokesperson Kaleigh Sands told the Standard Speaker: “We continually evaluate our store performance to ensure we’re operating the business in the best way. As customers shift online, we are taking aggressive action to right-size our retail footprint. We are committed to providing great service and every product businesses need whether it’s in-store, online or through mobile.”

Sands also pointed out that Staples branches in nearby Wilkes-Barre, Bloomsburg, and Cressona continue trading.
