Static Control recently held a global celebration to celebrate being in business for 35 years.

All global offices held an employee luncheon where CEO Ken Lalley gave a quarterly report along with reflections on his time with Static Control.

“We have been through many milestones throughout our 35 years, many of which have occurred in the 16 years that I have been with the company,” said Lalley. “We wouldn’t have gotten here today without our dedicated employees and what they have put into the company. Our customers know our dedication in providing premium products paired with our award-winning customer service. We are thankful to our customers who have supported us and look forward to working with them for many successful years to come.”

A video was shown at the event that showed members of the media and imaging industry congratulate Static Control employees on reaching this milestone.

Static Control also announced it has become a corporate sponsor of the North Carolina Zoo. The NC Zoo is the world’s largest natural habitat zoo and is located about 45 miles west of Static Control’s headquarters in Sanford.

“Proceeds from the Corporate Membership programme supports Zoo operations and empowers its staff to pursue the Zoo’s missions in conservation, education, recreation and research,” said Kelly Nields, the Corporate Membership Officer for the NC Zoo Society. “We are so grateful to those who have continued and added their support during these uncertain times of the coronavirus pandemic.”

At the employee event in Sanford, the longest tenured employee was given tickets to the zoo in honour of the occasion. Audrey Ammons, a shipping lead, has been with Static Control just shy of 30 years.

“We are excited the future and what it will bring to Static Control,” Lalley said at the event. “While the last few years have been a challenge due to covid and supply chain issues, we see a lot to look forward to as we come out of the pandemic thanks to our new products and innovations. We are passionate about what we do and look forward to the next 35 years.”
