Static Control said it was honoured to receive the Supplier of the Year award at The Recycler 2022 Awards for Excellence Dinner held on 19 May during The Recycler Live event in Prague.
This is the fourth time Static Control has been recognised in this category, with previous wins occurring in 2020, 2019 and 2016.
General Sales Manager Simon Grimes accepted the award on the company’s behalf. “We are sincerely honoured to receive this accolade and want to thank our customers and all who voted for us. The last few years have been a challenge to all, and our company has shown resilience and dedication in working toward a shared goal of providing the best imaging products and customer service to remanufacturers around Europe and the world.”
The win comes after a significant year for the company. In December, Static Control released the first-to-market solutions for the latest HP printers, called the W series, that included W2020/30/40 and W2210/W2410 cartridges. In January, the company’s new e-commerce platform launched, which improved the online shopping experience for customers. The company is also celebrating its 35 years of business this year.
The Recycler Awards were a part of The Recycler Live event, one of the first industry events to occur in Europe after the surge of COVID cancelled most events over the last two years.
“It’s great to all come together and connect again in person,” Grimes said about attending the event. “The Recycler team provided an excellent forum to discuss the latest industry trends and future opportunities. We are all adjusting to the ‘new normal’ and this seminar helped spark ideas on how to continue to best support our customers with all the current changes.”
