The document management provider Kyocera Document Solutions has appointed Stephen Schienbein to a dual function for the new financial year.

In addition to his position as Kyocera Sales Director, Schienbein will also be responsible for AKI GmbH. He succeeds Martin Kellner, who retired, and will continue to drive the strategic direction of the Würzburg software company.

Schienbein has been with Kyocera since 2005. Before that, he worked for Karstadt and for Tech-Data-predecessor Computer 2000. In 2009, he took over overall responsibility for the organisation of the internal sales team as Senior Channel Sales Manager and representative of the Sales Director. In his role, he was responsible for the distribution channel and consumables, and set up the e-tail channel as a B2B provider and a business operations team.

Schienbein has been the Sales Director of all Kyocera sales areas since 2016 and, in times of digitalisation, focused primarily on the transformation of Kyocera. In the past few months, Schienbein has worked intensively on synergy effects within the companies of the German Kyocera group.
