ARMOR-OWA has been explaining the benefits behind buying jumbo cartridges.
As ARMOR explains, jumbo cartridges are remanufactured toner cartridges which have been designed to offer a higher yield than standard toner cartridges. For a cartridge to be designated as jumbo, “its yield generally needs to be 20 percent higher than usual.”
ARMOR asserts that jumbo cartridges are a cost-effective option, as they “can print more pages” and therefore reduce the cost-per-page by between 15 and 50 percent, in comparison to a standard cartridge. However, ARMOR bemoans the difficulty of finding jumbo cartridges on the market, explaining that OEMs do not produce them.
The company also explains that jumbo cartridges are an environmentally friendly choice, as consumers can “print more using fewer cartridges”, which means less waste.
ARMOR continues, “Using fewer cartridges also means that less stock is needed and shipping is reduced”, thereby reducing CO2 emissions and the use of non-renewable resources.
Finally, jumbo cartridges are remanufactured, explains the company, which means they are made out of reused materials, and by purchasing jumbo cartridges “you reduce your environmental impact twofold.”
