The future of MPS

by | Jun 17, 2022 | 0 comments

What is the future for the traditional MPS programme? Can it grow? Can it adapt to new work patterns? cloud printing or printing as a service evolve as a natural replacement.

The MPS model has been in the market for almost as long as the humble copier has been with us. While the technology has changed, the basic model of buy or lease the hardware and pat for your maintenance and consumables on a cost per copy basis is very much the current business model.

As the EU is planning to introduce legislation that will include the office imaging sector The Recycler is seeking your opinions on how you see this sector of the market changing, if it is going to change at all.

We would like to get feedback from everyone involved in MPS: OEMs, MPS providers, hardware, spare parts and consumables suppliers to hear what you think the future of MPS might be. We certainly have two or three views already, but we want more because your opinion counts.

Our deadline for comments is the 1st July and to take part, just email me your thoughts on the future of MPS at s.unland@therecycler.com.
