The British end-of-life products broker has announced its extended premises are nearly complete.

Work started on the expansion of its Cumbria depot back in January, and the company has declared that the work is nearly finished, “with just roller doors and a few internal finishes to be added.”

The successful work includes an expanded loading bay, which Trade Copiers says will allow the storage of shipments away from the main warehouse, creating easier and faster loading and unloading. In addition to this, the floor space of the warehouse itself has increased, which according to the company means that it “can store more copiers, and give our customers better deals.”

“It may seem like a lot of work just to increase floor space,” opined Operations Manager Dik Stoddart, “but what the extensions now enable us to do is process and test machines much faster, load containers from a dedicated area which is vastly more efficient and of course store more machines.”

“The upshot of all these improvements is that more containers full of copiers are able go out every week,” Stoddart added.
