The UK Company Names Tribunal finds in favour of Xerox and orders company name change.

Following a complaint by Xerox Corporation & Xerox Limited, the UK Company Names Tribunal has upheld the complaint against a company registered as Xerox Trading International Limited and which will have its name changed to 12779754 LTD

In July 2020, the company Xerox Trading International Limited was registered at the UK Companies House. Following a complaint to Company Names Tribunal by Xerox Corporation & Xerox Limited. The tribunal issued a decision on 1 June 2021 requiring the company to change its registered company name to one that is not an offending name by 1 July 2021, subject to any appeal.

In the absence of an appeal application, the adjudicator has ordered that the company name of Xerox Trading International Limited is changed to 12779754 LTD. This change takes effect when a new certificate of incorporation showing the change of name is issued.
