Triple certification for Armor Africa

Armor Africa.

The company has obtained two new certifications to add to a previously held one, completing its hattrick.

The two new certifications, ISO14001, for the environment, and ISO45001, for occupational health and safety, make it a treble for Armor Africa following its previous awarding of ISO9001.

The certifications will help Armor Africa’s personnel in South Africa to “consolidate the Health, Safety and Environment culture,” as well as presenting the opportunity to “motivate all staff around a collective and shared project, designed to ensure compliance with Group standards.”

Externally, meanwhile, the company contended that “the certifications will undoubtedly raise confidence among all stakeholders, both customers and the authorities.”

The hattrick represents the results of what Armor calls “a genuine experiment in gaining triple certification at a small-scale site,” as the decision to apply for the three certifications was taken when the premises in South Africa had fewer than ten employees.
