USITC issues seizure and forfeit order

The U.S. International Trade Commission has issued a seizure and forfeit order to Huizhou Yongyi Composite Technology Co., Ltd., claiming the imported items by the company are in violation of the GEO.

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) issued a General Exclusion Order (GEO) following their investigation No. 337-TA-1174 based on the complaint filed by Brother.

The seizure and forfeit order says that “Toner cartridges, components thereof, and systems containing the same that are imported in violation of the general exclusion order issued in the above-captioned investigation is to be seized and forfeited to the United States, if imported by the following firm: Huizhou Yongyi Composite Technology Co., Ltd., Changbu Village, Xinxu Town, Huiyang Area, Huizhou City, Guangdong, China 516226, or any affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries, or other related business entities, or any of their successors or assigns.”
