The OEM’s Canadian division has welcomed Al Varney back to the role of President, in his second stint in the role.

As President, Varney will be responsible for the company’s go-to-market strategy, operations, sales and marketing, and delivery of document technology, solutions and services for clients of all sizes across all business channels, according to Graphic Arts magazine.

This is Varney’s second spell as President of Xerox Canada, having previously served in the role until January 2017, when he became President of North, South and Central Europe for Xerox’s International Operations, with responsibility for profit and revenue growth across fourteen European countries.

Varney – who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hamilton’s McMaster University –  first joined the OEM in 1986, as a Sales Representative, and his career has also included a variety of sales, marketing, strategy and general management positions in Canada, Europe, and the USA; these roles include appointments as President of Xerox’s North American Agent Operations, and Senior Vice President of United States Large Enterprise Operations, as well as Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Strategy and Sales Operations, General Manager for Client Operations, and Senior Vice President.
