Xiaomi launches inkjet all-in-one printer

The technology company has launched its first inkjet wireless all-in-one printer in China.

Gizmochina reported that Xiaomi has launched its Mi all-in-one inkjet printer, which will retail at a price of ¥499 ($70/ €63). The devices will be available from 11 June but are available for pre-order now.

Gizmochina said that the printers use “high-quality imported ink which has no odour”. The ink cartridge come with page yields of 480 pages in black and white and 150 in colour. The devices are wireless, offer scanning and copying. Also available is an app which allows scans to be saved to user’s smartphones.

The Mi wireless printers come with easy installation. Gizmochina describes that “the drivers will be automatically installed on the computer when it is connected for the first time.”

Replacement cartridges are priced at ¥69 ($9.71/ €8.70).

Xiaomi’s printer range already includes a pocket printer, a photo printer and another inkjet printer. The printer range is available in China only at the moment and is not available in other markets like its mobile phones or other technology the company offers.
