Zhono found that Ricoh released a new firmware for the IM C3000 series copiers (see figure 1).
On 28 October Ricoh pushed through a new firmware update for its IM C3000 series devices.
After testing, the company’s engineers verified that Zhono compatible chips used in the Ricoh IM C3000 series copiers are not impacted by the OEM firmware upgrade, and that the chips function correctly on the copiers with both the new firmware version and the old firmware version (see figure 2).
The company added: “Zhono will continue to monitor firmware upgrades and remain committed to providing customers with safe and reliable chip solutions.”
