The company has been testing its chips after the latest firmware updates for devices using Sharp MX60/61 series cartridges.
On 30 May 30 and 15 June 2022, Sharp released the latest firmware including 07.90.k1.h0, etc which upgrades devices using Sharp MX60/61 series cartridges. The companysaid it has confirmed that the aftermarket chips for Sharp MX60/61 series released by Zhono are compatible with both the latest and previous copiers (see figure 1).
Zhono’s Solution
Zhono said it will continue to monitor firmware updates and provide its customers with solutions. (The relevant website pages of firmware upgrade are shown in figure 2, 3, 4 and 5).
Zhono added that these firmware updates do not operate automatically on devices, but should be actively selected by users, and operated by Sharp technicians.
