China Labor Watch investigates two more factories

Following on from its undercover investigation in 2021 into some cartridge factories in Zhuhai, the labour rights organisation has published a new report investigating two further factories.

In its latest report, China Labor Watch cites two listed companies producing printer consumables in Zhuhai, Mito Color Imaging Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Chaojun Technology. The organisation said it once again went under cover to investigate the factories and “investigator(s) interviewed nearly 60 factory employees during several weeks of undercover investigations at both factories.”

China Labor Watch says in its executive summary of the report that the investigators found “serious violations in the areas of labour rights and environmental protection”, citing under age worker, overworked conditions and noise pollution.
